As a crossover to a revival of a popular enviromentalist anime, "Nature Force", a major Japanese promotion turned three of their young lions into a trio based on the anime. The one known as Red Wolf Ranger would have part of his gear torn off by an American wrestler, revealing that he had Yakuza tattoos. After being outed as a Yakuza enforcer and blackballed from Japanese wrestling, the man known as Hattori Okami would resurface in the US, aligning with fellow outcasts in the Lone Wolves, serving as the group's enforcer and adopting imagery from Japanese wrestlers who made a name for themselves in the US.
