Continuing the experiments, this was attempting to make an "oil slick" finish. I do like the effect I've achieved, but I think I will create a new base pattern from scratch for a larger collection based on this concept to try and push the effect further now that I have a better understanding of some issues. As is with the last in this series this finish will be grouped into a sketchbook like set of collections with similar experiments. This particular finish I will most likely post 3-4 more examples of in the coming days.
