Iberian Dogfight

I have always loved to dogfight in Ravenfield and experiment with the different planes produced by the workshop community however I always had trouble finding a proper map for it, all of the dogfighting maps were far too open and had far too many planes in them. This map is meant to allow for small self contained dogfights with the AI. The map has 2 flags with 2 fighters spawning at each. The AI navigation is disabled meaning the AI will not try to walk over and capture your flag, instead choosing to get in the planes. This is my very first mod on Ravenfield and any suggestions are welcome

About/Geography:
This map was originaly intended to be an air war over Gibraltar, but over the course of development it morphed into a small western Mediterranean island off the coast of Spain.

*Recommended Settings*
- Point Match (Infinite respawn + No reinforcements)
- 2-8 bots (Change depending on how many planes you want in the air)
- Disabled Stinger missiles (Prevents the AI from firing stinger missiles)

Issues:
- AI will bail out from planes and then sit in the sea or on land, I would like to fix this by placing in a killzone in the water but I do not know if there is a way to do this

As promised here are all the links to the amazing vehicle mods used in the trailer, I would reccomend testing these mods out

Funny thing this mod's trailer introduced me to the Hotline Miami games
Got to say I really loved them!

Both are in there, But I would reccomend using a script. Just create an empty game object and then add a damage zone component to by clicking on the add component option on the right and typing in damage zone

@Lithuanian Dude - How would you implement a killzone on unity, Would it be done with a C# script or is there an already made prefab in the game's assets?
Lithuanian Dude 31 Jan, 2020 @ 2:32pm
ok in that case I can't help you all that much. I know of a method for unity. Honestly I would reccomend switching. It is actually rather similar to in game and imo easyer to use, it is only harder in the sense that you can do more things and more custom items.

@Lithuanian Dude - I am using the in-game editor but I do have experience with unity

hey did you want to know how to add a killzone? it's pretty simple actually. first of all are you using unity or in-game editor to make the map?
