Dig Dug - Taizo Hori

The Hit Namco Arcade Character Taizo Hori is Finally Here! His game from 1982 is an underrated classic, so I chose to represent him in Rivals of Aether. Each move, sprite, and sound is based on or from his games(mainly Dig Dug and Dig Dug II).

Neutral Special: Taizo Hori begins pumping his pump at a quick speed, until a Pooka flies forward.

Forward Special: Taizo throws his harpoon to smack anyone in front of him.

Up Special: Taizo turns into a Digging Fygar from Dig Dug which allows him to fly

Down Special: Taizo begins to pump as a Pooka grows behind him. When the Pooka pops, it will launch anyone close enough to Taizo.

And those are just his Specials! There's much more added to Taizo, like his Down air, where he throws a rock downwards. Taizo is a passion project of mine so seeing this complete makes me so happy. I hope you all enjoy the Retro Throwback!
