Report a translation problem
1. Open the mod files via the game launcher
2. Find the "equipment" folder (The path should look like this -> common\units\equipment)
3. Open "ship_hull_heavy.txt"
4. Go to line 528 and replace "ship_super_heavy_armor" with "ship_heavy_armor"
5. Save, close the file, launch the game

You should always be able to refit annexed ships, but you might need to use the refit button on the top bar, as you cannot label an annexed ship design as outdated.
