SE Geotechnics Deep Core Miner (200m)

Description
A greatly simplified static mining rig, compared to my previous builds. Completely vanilla, no scripts, no DLC and designed to be built from just the starting drop pod. For a little investment upfront, this rig provides practically all the stone/iron/silicon and nickel you are likely to need. I wanted to keep this build as flexible as possible so I have made no assumptions how you plan to use it - it just focuses on excavating a shaft. You may want to supplement it with your own refining, sorting and ejection systems.

This build does use sub-grids, which at present cannot be built from projectors. I am working on a text and video guide to build this entirely in survival mode. In the meantime this build will need to be pasted in creative.

When pasting, ensure the battery at the base intersects with a ground voxel, aligned to gravity. Ensure pistons and drills do not intersect with any voxels. Failure to observe these precautions may yield unexpected, alarming and fiery results.

[Pre-drill checklist]
* Advanced Rotor Front attached
* Advanced Rotor Rear attached
* Piston group velocity set to -0.0800
* Sufficient power to supply the basic refinery and assembler
* Basic Assembler set with the following items on repeat:
- 6 conveyor tubes
- 1 conveyor junction
- 1 advanced rotor part

[Drill Procedure]
* Set Drills group to ON
* Set Welder to ON
* Detach Advanced Rotor Front
* Reverse Pistons group
* Observe drills advancing and verify conveyors welding
- if starting for the first time with an empty inventory, you may need to retract the pistons to weld once components are available
* When pistons at maximum extent, verify new rotor head present adjacent to Advanced Rotor Front
* Attach Advanced Rotor Front
* Verify Advanced Rotor Front attached
* Detach Advanced Rotor Rear
* Reverse Pistons group
* When pistons at minimum extent, attach Advanced Rotor Rear
* Verify Advanced Rotor Rear attached
* Repeat until desired level is achieved.

Maximum depth is roughly 200 metres. This can be extended using the projector offsets or adding a new projector loaded with the rail blueprint (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1992899574)

The sub grid components could be projected if they are attached to the main grid using temporary blocks that are to be ground away. Otherwise make them available as separate assemblies arrayed along a stalk like model aircraft kits.

Damn this is awesome. Is there a version that has timers?
