Required/Recommended Items
The map is designed to be vanilla friendly and does not need any custom assets/mods to function. However, a number of assets have been used to improve the visual quality of the map. These assets include covers used for tunnels and different types of vegetation used in the map. Also the map theme that was used for making the images is included in the list. All custom assets that were used can be found in the collection that is supplied with this map.

About the Map
Maxanyatun: Valley of the Giants is a fantasy themed map that covers a large river valley surrounded by the mountain range on the south and the large river network in the north. The mountain streams cover a large water network that stimulate the growth of a large variety of trees on the fertile fields. The starting location covers lake Furameran, which is one of the central lakes that flow out into the large river. This area is currently connected to the highway network, close to the railway network and surrounded by a large share of fertile land. Although the availability of fresh water and fertile land seem perfect for settlement, it appears that there are currently no traces of civilisation left…

“Shasheenwa muralin shasheenush, utapoluk in katareesu”
“Move with the river, or it will kill you”
- Old Wameerang proverb

Near the central lake that is now known as lake Furameran, a swamp tribe existed known as the Wameerangeel - the People of Earth and Water. The tribe mainly focused on fishing for food and on studying the potency of different herbs, which they gathered from “the Safe Swamp”, formerly known as Warangshalee.
Near the eastern forest, another tribe was located, the Hashahikili (Nature’s Children). Unlike the tribe of the swamp, they regarded the rivers as unpredictable and dangerous. Therefore, the tribe aimed to hunt and gather in the forests in the hills. The two tribes have been in contact multiple times, but were mostly protected from each other by their geographic boundaries.
Over time, a new branch of the Hashahikili tribe known as the Haziki people developed means of agriculture and drainage, which reduced their geographical boundaries. This allowed the Haziki to expand their nation across the river valley. This resulted in great conflict with the Wameerangeel tribe, which finally led to a decimation of a large portion of the swamp tribe. The ones that remained fled to farther grounds downstream.
What remains of the Haziki people today Is currently unknown. One possible theory is that the nation was ambushed by nearby clans from the mountain region and across the river. Some rumours state that a large flood filled the complete valley, or even that a giant flying creature landed upon the valley and burned down all signs of life. As the surrounding nations of the valley find this prosperous land once again, the opportunity to create a great civilisation reappears. Could possible traces of old settlements teach us how crisis can be prevented, or will the new city also find its inevitable doom?

Looks very nice, I think this is perfect for my new city as it seems the hills are not too steep and i can spread stuff out a lot (great for trains)
