Description
Original description: ANSLEM is an imposing structure in an enclosed outdoor area. ANSLEM is a strange combination of a castle and a library, yet it is neither actually. ANSLEM fully takes advantage of single play mode, but is also an excellent deathmatch experience, despite being a tad bit larger than it should be. This is my second level, I was able to put it together in less than two weeks. In the end, it didn't live up to my expectations. Large outdoor area's are almost never a good idea. Someday I will learn this! :) ANSLEM is meant to be played without a jetpack. Try it without one for a better challenge. A Pentium 90 processor or higher is reccomended for ANSLEM.

Original Author: Robert Travis

If you have played the usermaps that come with Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition then you would have seen AnslemX which is basically just a stripped down multiplayer only version of this map that was included in Duke Xtreme.

I claim to own nothing about this map and if Robert Travis wants the map down then, he can contact in some way I guess, I did try his email but that was long dead.

The multiplayer version of this map actually won an award back in the day! http://www.pyramid.net/nailer/duke/contest/contest.html

If you make a video of any of the user maps I have uploaded, simply put it into the comments and I'll add it to the corresponding workshop page as I kind of want to have up to two videos on each item :)

And then Deus Ex happened. And developers learned just how innovative large open maps could be.

Awesome! The nostalgia! I remember being so impressed by this map and it inspired me to make my own.
