Gemology 2.1.1

Description
A mod that adds/modifies gems and steels.

~ "Steel" has a less-expensive recipe, now requiring only Iron and Coal.
+ "Damascus Steel" is a new form of Steel that can be made at a Furnace using Steel, Gold, and Coal. It is used as a new interim material between Steel and Royal Steel, ultimately keeping the cost of Royal Steel near identical to its vanilla recipe--save for needing 2 extra Coal.

~ "Hammer" now requires Steel instead of Iron and requires half as much Wood.

+ "Sapphire" is a new gem that *should* appear at a slightly higher rate than other 'base' gems and is used in any recipes that use the other gems. (For the time being, this does NOT include the Quarry.) Sapphire can be obtained through both mining and digging.
~ "Transmutation" has a slightly modified recipe which uses a bit less Coal but now also requires Stone. (Currently, this will NOT yield Sapphires.)
~ As an alternative to Transmutation, 'base' gems (including Sapphire) can be chosen specifically at a Cauldron with an extra cost based on something that grows in the respective gem color's biome.
~ All forms of Transmutation, random or otherwise, now requires Damascus Steel.

~ "Legendary Gem" has been renamed to "Diamond" and can now be crafted at a Spirit Forge.

~ "Onyx Relic" has been renamed to "Jet Black Relic".
+ "Onyx" is a new legendary gem that can rarely be obtained from strong bosses. Alternatively, they can be crafted at a Spirit Forge.

~ "Cosmic Steel" has been renamed to "Sky Steel" and "Cosmic [item]" has been renamed to "Skyforged [item]".
+ "Sidereal Steel" is a new legendary steel required for a new 9th tier of tools/accessories (not yet implemented) and can be crafted at a Spirit Forge.
? "Si·de·re·al" ( sī - ˈdir - ē - əl ) = of or relating to the stars; "Astral"

~ "Obliterator" has a modified, more expensive recipe.

~ Some items and skills have modified descriptions to reflect changes/additions made by this mod.
+ Sprites for most legendary-level gems/steels are now animated.
+ Many bosses will now drop more types of gems, and powerful bosses also have a rare chance to drop an Onyx.

? Can't craft any of the new items listed above? Most of them require that you have a specific skill unlocked. (HINT: learn plenty of Magic skills.)
? Want to see the source code for my mod? Anyone can see it here: https://github.com/ArashiJoe/Forager-mod-Gemology (Source may contain additional features not yet implemented.)
? Combination potions previously included in this mod have been removed. Check out this mod for awesome additions to brewing potions: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2009878408

not sure if you still work on mods for this game, but the lighthouses don't increase the number of sapphire that is earned from all sources which makes the game a lot more difficult to go through.

So I noticed that your mod is missing one change, the alternate crafting recipe for steel in the flower press. It's still the original steal and as such doesn't look right and if you look at the recipe for it and have steel created via your recipe it doesn't count how much steel you have. I was looking into trying to fix it myself but I haven't figured out everything that needs to be done to make certain modded things work, such as accessing a structure to either remove and item or to alter and existing recipe, I know that's what itemedit is for but not how to apply it to that specifc machine. Unless I missed something in the code for your mod that automagically converts steel from the flower press into steel changed by your mod.

I suggest to rename onyx to black diamond, it would fit better the idea of rare legendary gem. Copper and silver could be added as well.
