Description
Compatible with Stellaris 3.7.x

[ ] = Modder Commentary


Critter/Event Components:
Allowed Null Void Beam, Cloud Lightning Conduits, Orbital Trash Dispersal, Regenerative Hull Tissue, Crystal-Infused Plating, and Crystal-Forged Plating (after Infused Plating) to be researched normally but at an extremely low draw weight of 2 and at higher tiers than their techs would be.
[These can all potentially become almost impossible or impossible to obtain in a playthrough, so I've allowed every empire to have a very remote chance to get them eventually. Someone might only find only one or two of these before late game]

Leviathan Components:
Allowed Artificial Dragonscales, Enigmatic Encoder, Enigmatic Decoder, and Nanite Repair System to be researched normally at tier 5 but at a much lower draw weight than repeatables. Their weight is increased to just a bit less than a repeatable if a neighbor (without Enigmatic Engineering) or a fellow federation member has it.
[Similar reasoning as above; most components should remain technically possible to obtain. Enemies would obtain these from ship debris anyway, this is mostly for the benefit of allies]

That's not a bad idea. I've set their draw weight to 1 if nobody nearby has them.

In other news, Perdition/Titan weapons being energy typed is in vanilla as of 3.0.3, so the overwrites have been removed.

Any chance of leviathan components being able to be drawn even if neighbor/fed member doesnt have it? Not all games spawn with Ether Drake / Enigmatic Fortress / Scavenger Bot.

Could be given a weight of 1 base, that increases to 2 or 3 of others have it?

I took a look and though ESC-O fully overwrites a lot of files in the component_templates folder, not all of the contents are actually modified from vanilla. The "conflicts" are the regenerative hull tissue and the perdition, ion, and titan lance weapons. But because ESC-O doesn't actually change anything about them, you should be able to safely load this mod after ESC-O. Loading this this mod before would revert those components to vanilla.
