Invisible Tram Track (2L2W)

Description
IF YOU LIKE IT, RATE UP, PLEASE! Helps more people find this, too

Sp3ctre18's first invisible network! Vanilla tram track, visible in bridge mode for placement, but invisible in all others. No pedestrians either, so you don't have to worry about them perilously walking alongside trams or flying if you're using this for hover trams.

One-Way Pack Released!

BUT WHY
lel Idk u tell me. Ok, in all seriousness, it's mainly just to give people OPTIONS. Whether you're a detailer who wants to plop down your own tram track foundation or you're a futuristic building like me and want trams to fly, here's your option to just allow trams anywhere. It's part of my project to increase the flexibility of our network options. This is also why I'm making rail-only versions, in case you just want rails on grass or want to add tram tracks to any section of road, poggers.

Why Double My Work With Both Stop- and Non-Stop-Supporting Tracks?
For a track to support stops it needs a pedestrian path. So if you ONLY use a track with stops, you're also making a pedestrian network just like normal roads. If this is ok with you, fine, but I think most people don't want people dangerously walking along tracks with their grandparents, kids, and most barbaric, dogs, so you should usually be using the track without stops. Only use the stop-supporting network where you want a stop. Hey, it's more precise control over your stops too!

This is my first network asset, so let me know if there are any issues. Seemed to work fine for me, since I was obviously testing it to make the video.

Rail-only tracks coming soon!

Cool then, I'll work on re;easing the vanilla one right away then.

PS: Don't forget to drop a like if you haven't already, lol, particularly on the stops version which seems more attractive to people, as I expected.

Sounds good...

Yup, Clus LRT is the other one. So maybe what I should do is just make a vanilla version first, since I'm using the vanilla track as a base. Then I'll check with Clus and Jerenable to see about making rail-only versions of their tracks. If their base models and settings are perfectly compatible with vanilla, then it'll be super easy for me to just switch out the rail model on my asset. However, if there are some differences, I'd have to work off their asset instead, which should still be fairly easy, but it's like starting over and I'd have to check all the settings all over again.

I believe there are three types that would be interesting: Vanilla, Clus LRT and Jerenable ETT.

There are palyers arround that use Trams only in Vanilla Version and I know they are looking for some additional roads without need to change the complete look... As they do not want to have the official roads adaboned... You know the RAM-Problem with all the good assets out there... :D I've also just started to use non Vanialla Trams after I upgraded my system...

@Chamëleon, yep, they're practically done! But I'm waiting to hear back from Jerenable since it'd be nicer to use decent-looking tram tracks rather than vanilla. However, maybe I should always also have a vanilla version? I'm thinking about it; don't want to make too many assets for no good reason.

But as you get it to work in this way.... could you also create only Tram tracks? Bare, nude working Tram rails as roads without catenary ... similar to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1991363807 ?

@Chamëleo, yeah, I'll try to add pictures of more likely and typical uses once I finish the collection of tracks I'm making. For now, the people who need this will recognize this is what they need, haha. Thanks for the comment!
