Description
Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions, a division of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, presents the Deep Reach Space Miner, a vanilla small-grid design without mods or DLC, and contains no rotors or pistons making it a perfect survival-ready solution for large mining projects. Designed as a high-capacity miner, the Deep Reach Space Miner extracts ores effortlessly with its 36 drills that are optimally spaced, storing the ore in its 18 large cargo containers and 2 medium cargo containers. Fully loaded with ore and/or ice, the payload capacity of this miner is 1,113 tons using 1-1-1 realistic settings. Although this miner has 2 large reactors for power, it may be operated only using power from its 10-battery bank. Ion thrusters are used throughout, and the miner may be propelled using only its small thrusters if the remaining power reserves are low.

NO MODS, NO DLC, NO ROTORS/PISTONS; SURVIVAL READY AND PROJECTOR BUILDABLE!

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR
As shown in the last picture, five red blocks were intentionally added to be the location of the grid pivot to simplify the projection process; the grid pivot is the projector's anchor point. Once the shipbuilding process is completed, the red blocks must be removed.

Thanks. Please let me know if I need to fix anything else.

Awesome, I'll check it out later :D

Wow, I really didn't test that design as thoroughly as I thought; fixed to eliminate the thruster interference problem. I also slightly changed the console controls to put all thrusters on one button.

I tested the design extensively and never encountered any thruster damage. Then again, maybe one of KSH's later updates to SE screwed it all up. But, hey, thanks for letting me know. I'll check it out and update the design accordingly.

Maybe just add it to description if it isn't in there already.

Awesome miner as the others before. One Thing though, some of the Ion thrusters are placed so that their line of thrust is obstructed. I might have to switch to "Thruster Damage OFF" just for this or reposition them.

Yeah, me too! It really gobbles the ore quickly and carries a massive load, except it handles like a pig when fully loaded. Only my large-grid Dirty Ore will mine faster and carry more.
