Combine Daily Needs With Tiered Tech Unknown Signals

Description
This mod adds compatibility between Tiered Tech Tools and Daily Needs Survival Kit for the unknown signals.

Without this mod the unknown signals will have a chance of containing either Daliy Needs items OR tiered tech items, depending on which of the two mods is higher up in your mod load order - the other would never appear.

With this mod I've combined the definitions for the unknown signal item selections so that both sets have a chance of spawning, even within the same unknown signal.

Mod Load Order
This mod works by overriding the unknown signal pod changes that the other two mods make. In order to do the override correctly this mod must be loaded with a higher priority than the other two mods.

If you are playing single player or co-op (i.e. one player is also the host), make sure that this mod is ABOVE both Daily Needs and Tiered Tech Blocks.

If you are using this on a dedicated server the mod order is reversed which means that this mod needs to be BELOW both Daily Needs and Tiered Tech Blocks mods.

As Sadragos said, this mod shouldn't be needed any more. I've left it here just in case people are still using it.

@uglydisease This mod was only created to allow the other two mods to play nicely together with regards the unknown signal contents. It doesn't do anything else. You may want to address your question to one of the mod authors for those mods.

Nice work! I just started using daily needs and found this mod whiche searching for addons. It should no longer be needed though, since I've updated tiered tech to be compatible with any mod that alters loot from droppods :)

Bizzaro world is true.

My order is now:
* text hud api
* tiered tech blocks
* daily needs
* combine daily needs with tiered tech

And I was able to harvest food, tech, and a few zone chips from the last unknown signal. Thanks @kyr. The Whiskey and Cookies server is in your debt.

Thanks, please do. I’d love to update the description with DSs instructions too. For reference I’m running these 3 mods ( with a lot of others) in a coop game with my wife and have confirmed that as long as this mod has priority over the other two it works as intended.

We also have zone chips from drops.

There’s nothing all that special about this mod really. It’s a single sbc file that merges the changes made to that file by the other two mods to allow the items from both mods to spawn in the drops.

This is bizzaro world talk, but I'll give it a try and let you know what comes of it.

My players also reported 0 zone chips in the drops, fyi. I'll see if the reverse order fixes both.

I’ve not run a dedicated server before but have heard that dedicated server mod order is the opposite way around. If that’s true then putting this mod as the last item may solve your issue.
