Milwaukee Road EP-4 Little joe passenger train

This is the EP-4 better known as 'Little joe', in reference to Joseph Stalin from the USSR that originally placed the order for the locomotive. The EP-4 was built by GE and the USSR originally placed an order for 20 of these locomotives.

They were tested in the US under soviet supervision, however, nothing came of the soviet's plans to use the little joes that had already been assigned road numbers onto their newly electrified railways, as the cold war broke out and the US prohibited export of all strategic goods to the USSR, the locomotives being counted as such.

Instead they found a new owner, The Milwaukee road, where they fulfilled various tasks untill 1974 when they shut down their electric railroad operations.

This particular one pulls a 6 car passenger train.

This locomotive was a collaborative effort between me and Astro. Astro made the streamliner body initially, which i modified and fixed extensively, and i made use of my GG1 running gear and electrification equipment and added some extra details, the texture work is done exclusively by me. I highly recommend you support their work and check out their workshop and leave a like on their assets and follow them.

The Heavyweight cars were Made by Astro and GiometryE, i retextured them for the Milwaukee Road using their template.
