The gun first appeared in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

@SpyZecktrum yeah, I know. This gun first appeared in Far Cry: Blood Dragon and was a direct reference to Robocop, however the model for this mod was taken from one of Far Cry 4's "UPlay rewards".

@MAXIMILI i dont wanna sound like an ass but the first time we saw this handgun was actually Robocop.

AJM actually stands for Alex J. Murphy. The name of the main character.

The fact that Ubisoft still refuses to make a proper standalone full Blood Dragon game still baffles me.

It would sell like crazy...
