Heinkel He-219 Uhu

The He 219 Uhu was a late war German night fighter. It employed a number of new aircraft technologies, such as radar to track bombers. Later variants had Schräge Musik, vertically pointing guns to intercept bombers from below. Less that 300 were produced, and they saw limited service, yet proved to be quite effective, even producing an ace, who shot down 33 aircraft in his He 219. Production ceased in 1945, and some examples were shipped to the US for testing. One airframe still exists today, in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.

This creations features the new 1.0 blocks. A altimeter is used to automate the landing gear, and a timer is used to improve the function of the guns.
