Narrow Gauge Fireless Steam Locomotive

This is a narrow gauge fireless steam locomotive. A fireless steam locomotive is a steam locomotive without a firebox. IT is more or less just a large tank. Steam is made in a stationary boiler and then the tank is filled and the engine goes on it's way. Fireless locomotives were used in industries where a spark could very easily cause problems and fires. Such industries could be places that process flour or other explosive dust, textile mills, fuel refineries, etc, etc.
