Description
Shogun [scripted]
BoardGameGeek[boardgamegeek.com]
Rulebook: inside the mod. (based on Eldin's scripted rulebook machine)

Description of the game:
The game is set in the Sengoku period (approx 1467-1573) which ends with the inception of the well-known Tokugawa Shogunate.

Japan during the Sengoku or “Warring States” Period: each player assumes the role of a great Daimyo with all his troops. Each Daimyo has the same 10 possible actions to develop his kingdom and secure points. To do so he must deploy his armies with great skill. Each round, the players decide which of the actions are to be played out and in which of their provinces. If battle ensues between opposing armies, the unique Cubetower plays the leading role. The troops from both sides are thrown in together and the cubes that fall out at the bottom show who has won immediately. Owning provinces, temples, theaters, and castles means points when scores are tallied. Whichever Daimyo has the highest number of points after the second tally becomes – SHOGUN!

Hello
Ok, so I'm new to the TTS and i wanted to play Shogun with my friends cause i loved the board version and my friends are far away.
So i load the board type , pick number of players and pick objects versions. What's next? Do i progress normally with rules? So we decide who is first, than pick our provinces and so on? Pick event, put them on the "+" sign next to the board and just normally proceed with the rule book?
And i have problem with loading objects, it seems like VP and rice markers are missing.
Great MOD thou, thanks!

Thank you so much for the fast response! Can't wait to start teaching this game to folks. So many people say "I've heard of it been never played it". Kills me. Definitely one of the strongest area control games out there.

update: fixed mistake that caused cards to fall down into the board (it happened that scale Y = 100 for boards was too much somehow)

Focus (answer to your question on my profile page), to use Chest counters you need:
1) Input any value >0 in the text field on the bottom part of the counter. (Left Click - type a number on keyboard - LClick somewhere else). This is called "a step".
2) Click + (or -) button on the counter to increase (or decrease) the value by the amount you've set in a "step". This value determines how many chests you have.

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

NM I'm an idiot, those white spaces are the rules and once I noticed the scroll button I clicked it and it loaded just fine

Just loaded this for the first time and it looks SLICK. I am planning on getting acquainted with it today so me and the guys can play tonight. I did run into an error; WWW AssetBundle ERror: Unable to complete SSL connection. There is a huge white slate at an angle on the side of table near the cube tower and another one to the right of the Tenno's court expansion. Are these just player aids maybe so we can still have access to everything we need to play a game, or does this break it?

Update:
Shogun: Tenno's Court has been added (it is not scripted).

hotfix
Solved save-load issue.
Tower is more neat now (it's too "mathy" to describe, I can say that cubes fly in the correct direction now).

P.S. I'm happy with the mod so far. If you are interested in the game and want it to be better, what would you suggest me to change/ improve ? Maybe expansion ( https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/74823/shogun-tennos-court ) ?
