In my tests, it muted the horns sounds alright, both from vanilla and mods' trains.

Can you make one that disabled the horn sound? I used one in TPF 1.
its a bit annoying that each train horns by start

I used a similar mod in Transport Fever 1. The bulldozer noises are VERY annoying. The others, not so much.
