[Deprecated] Planetary Drill

This mod is deprecated. Please use this drill instead now (click here).

Adds a Planetary Drill+ that can infinitely drill all vanilla ores (except silver). This mod is the standalone version of my Planetary Drill+.

Technical Details
  • Must be researched.
  • Mod is XML only and overwrites nothing. This is an extremely compatible mod.
  • Can be safely added to an existing game.
  • Before removing this mod from an existing game, please make sure that you destroyed all structures from this mod first, stop any research in progress from this mod and that you are not ordering the creation of new structures from this mod. Also make sure that you destroyed any minified structures from this mod and that you do not have any pawns with a work-order for the Planetary Drill+.

New structure
  • Planetary Drill+ (=expensive to research & build)

Incompatibilities
  • My other mods Endgame Buildings and Planetary Drill+ combined already include this mod. So if you use those two mods already then please consider not using this one. It should not produce any errors at first but please just don't do it.

From what mods do you get titanium? Is it from the Glittertech mod?

I'm considering overhauling both planetary drills and making one mod for both and using C# so users can configure them. I'm busy with other things now but at some point I will look into adding ores from other mods as well.

Perfect. I needed something to replace the Omnicore drill mode since it looks dead!!
