Hellion Class Star Fighter

The Hellion Class Star Fighter is Mishima Heavy Industries' first "affordable" star fighter. As MHI is often responsible for black bag projects and exorbitant military projects, many of their available designs are often affordable only to top-tier space navies, but the Hellion is the first star fighter designed around the principle of affordability for Private Military Contractors and smaller entities and businesses wishing to militarize for space. As such, the Hellion is very evenly balanced in terms of armor, speed, and weaponry, and the design inherently does not favor one aspect over the other.


"Not too long ago, we had a guest touring the facilities. A friend of the CEO's, some Old Earth historian or something. When he laid eyes on our modest fleet of Hellion Star Fighters, he gave the CEO an arm jab and said something like, 'Man, Hellions--they're like the AK-47 of the modern space fighters!' I have no idea what he meant by that at all. I've been working space docks my whole life, I've NEVER heard of an 'AK-47' type spacecraft..."
