Description
When the MSL was created in 1986, the roster consisted of engines from the Milwaukee Road, North Shore Line, and South Shore Line. The North Shore Line steeplecabs were in bad shape, and were rebuilt, repainted, and renumbered. 452, 453, 454, and 457 were all renumbered to the Milw electric locomotive number scheme. This is E43, and used to be North Shore Line 453.
