you can also use (Shift) + (+) or (Shift) + (-) to change the spacing of the repeat once you have the above set up
PS. were you about to live stream? i was waiting on it but if you work on the editor and livestrem it i would gladly join and show you the problem
@largah ... i know i had it on double speed before but it was way to fast so i turned it to 1.5 ... i wanted the song to get more hyped during the end but as i said i took way too much effort in this map and my others probably wont be as clutched and therefore not as messy ... but thanks for the advice with the not over 100% speed ... maybe that will fix the messy part at the end...
also im back home now and due to corona i probably have a lot free time now lol ... ill probably start mapping more songs soon <3
Again though, this is also personal opinions and every designer has their own style. If you develop your own style over time, players will know what to expect from the level designer's name alone.
DDR in particular has boss songs that speed up to double or even quadruple the starting speed in certain sections, but in that game the scroll speed is a function of BPM and the song's BPM range is listed in the song select menu, so players are given advance warning and can set their speed to a comfortable range. It also helps that players are generally more tolerant of gimmicks in the context of a boss song.
