Description

What is this?

If you know Batman then you know what this is. These are Batarangs that can be thrown at the enemy. They are not only cool, they are also deadly if you hit the target.

Everything is configurable with ConVars. So you can for example deactivate the sounds if they are disturbing or change other settings.
A round restart or map reload/change is required to apply ConVar changes.

Requirements

This works ONLY in TTT/TTT2.

You can use ULX & ULib to change ConVars more easily.

Who can use it?

It's a weapon that is available for one credit for the detective. (You can change that in the F1 menu.)

Damage dealt on impact

ttt_batarang_ammo (Def. 3)

Default ammo the batarang has when bought

ttt_batarang_clipSize (Def. 3)

Clipsize of the batarang

ttt_batarang_rps (Def. 0.4)

Shots per second

Can I change the sound?

Yes you can. Extract the addon and delete the sound files which you don't like and add your sound files.
Don't forget to modify the code for the new sound files.
The primary attack sound files are located at: "ttt_ttt2_batarang\sound" under the names "hit1.wav", "hit2.wav", "hit3.wav", "throw1.wav", "throw2.wav", "throw3.wav" and "throw4.wav".

Can I change other settings?

You can change anything you want after you extracted the addon. After you finished just save and put the whole folder on your server (into the addons folder).

yea i saw it uploaded on other sites but im a bit lazy and dont really trust the sites i saw it on. thank you for the response and the mod though, ill end up getting it eventually

There was one but it was removed.
Maybe there is somewhere else a Sandbox version on the Steam Workshop.
You could also search online on some backup websites or on GitHub repositories.

Thanks for pointing it out. I updated the description.
I don't know what happened but I don't plan on creating and uploading a Sandbox version.
You can still find it on some sites if you search for "Garry's Mod Batarang SWEP".
