You can compile your changes into a mod and share that mod.

A direct modification to the game's files itself? Hm. Didn't think about doing that. I've only ever changed certain mod's files. Like another that adds megastructures and have an influence cost on them, too.

I guess if I wanted to play multiplayer, whoever I play with and myself would need to change the affected files.

Well, If you ever need to recreate this mod. Just load up the megastructure folder and change influence to 0 or even just remove that line and it will work.

I FRIGGIN' LOVE YOU! I've ALWAYS thought that it was idiotic that megastructures cost influence! If I got the materials, I should be able to make them, damnit! Period! No extra BS required!
