Shenyang J-5/F-5

The J-5, the first generation of single seater single engine fighter, was imitated by the state-owned 112 factory of Shenyang in the 1950s. It is the first high subsonic fighter made and equipped by China's air force.

The aircraft is developed with reference to the Soviet mig-17f fighter.

歼-5，由中国沈阳国营112厂在20世纪50年代仿制的单座单发第一代战斗机，是中国制造并装备空军的第一种高亚音速喷气战斗机。
该机参照苏联米格-17F型战斗机研制。
