Smooth AI Difficulty

Description
Removes the significant starting bonuses the AI receive from higher difficulties, while increasing the yield and experience bonuses the AI receives from higher difficulties, allowing AI difficulty to be more meaningful as the game goes on. As a comparison, here is a table showing the bonuses the AI gets on higher difficulties in the base game:

Lower Difficulties:

This mod also changes the lower difficulty settings to be a perfect mirror of the higher difficulty settings, except with the bonuses applying to the player, instead of the AI, e.g. on Warlord Difficulty the player will receive all the same bonuses that the AI does on King. Where this should come in most handy is in multiplayer, allowing you to provide a sizable handicap to less skilled players in order to keep games even.

The bonus gold from barbarian camps given to the player on lower difficulties & an effect that lowered the AI's opinion of the player on higher difficulties has been removed. Finally, city states no longer spawn with additional units on higher difficulties, but do start with 1 extra unit in general.

Now I know why it didn't work for me. I loaded a configuration instead of setting up the configuration directly from the ground up when I started a new game. Later I started another round and didn't load a configuration. And it worked this time.

Somehow it's not working for me. I have turned off all other mods in case they are not compatible. Now I'm at turn 14 at Diety difficulty, but the AI Persia already has 3 cities and 4 warriors. Also, the combat bonus is +4 instead of +8.

@Stoic @Betrezem I am using the mod right now, it seems to be working. I am playing Diety and enemy troops have +8 combat bonus.

I would rather he produces one soldier and gives one soldier for free than+8 strength.

I removed the bonuses on Prince for the AI in this mod.

What changes does the mod makes to Prince difficulty? I'm looking for a mod that makes Prince even. The AI still gets small bonuses on Prince and you get bonuses if you play lower than Prince. But Prince is the equivalent to Normal and it should be 0 bonuses to you and the AI equally.
