Description
Adds spells inspired by a certain Kiwi adventure.
Last feature addition 2020-11-06: change notes after spell list
Compatibility with 1.0 appears solid (tested with multiple runs).

Currently available:
- Blade Vortex: Fast-casting piercing projectile that attempts to follow your character.
- Breach: Opens a rift between realities. 3 charges, counts as bomblike. Use with extreme prejudice.
- Firestorm: Creates a cloud that rains small firebolts. Cheap per total damage.
- Flame Dash: Teleport spell that leaves flames in your wake. Bring your fireproof robe.
- Flesh Offering: Consumes corpses, extracting their fury into berserkium.
- Freezing Pulse: Low damage spell that freezes enemies and some particles.
- Glacial Cascade: Fires a dense series of easily crumbled icicles.
- Ice Spear: Cold projectile that starts slow, then accelerates and gains significant crit chance.
- Incinerate: Rapid fusillade of small flames. Cast time is always zero, like chainsaw.
- Kinetic Blast: Spell bolt with four supplementary explosions. Can dig a bit. Good all-rounder.
- Lightning Tendrils: Rapid-fire inaccurate lightning bolts. Tamer than regular lightning, but lower damage.
- Molten Burst: Three explosive orbs spread randomly from the creation point with high drop.
- Lightning Warp: variable range, highly volatile lightning teleportation.
- Ethereal Knives: fan of blades, high damage for cost but die when they slow down too much.
- Magma Orb: energetic, fiery ball that explodes on each bounce.
- Spell Totem Support: Consumes supported projectiles to create a totem that casts them for you.
- Combustion Support: Adds slight fire damage to spells and doubles their damage against burning enemies.
- Point Blank Support: Grants immense close-range damage at the cost of long-range capability.


Changes in 0.7 (2020-11-06):
- Added Lightning Warp
- Added Ethereal Knives
- Added Magma Orb
- Spell Totem targeting is now less susceptible to interruption by particles.
- Blade Vortex homing has been adjusted to make the blades orbit at a slightly wider range.

Changes in 0.6 (2020-10-22):
- Added retrigger support to several spells (used for certain modifiers like larpas and the angry ghost).
- Retrigger added to: Freezing Pulse, Molten Burst, Blade Vortex, Incinerate, Kinetic Blast, and Ice Spear.
- Spell Totem is now a support, able to cast any retriggerable projectile. This is in an experimental state for now.
- 0.6a: Fixed a Breach visual issue that arose after Noita 1.0 release.

Changes in 0.5 (2020-05-16):
- Added Firestorm
- Added Ice Spear
- Added Lightning Tendrils
- Gave Flame Dash a bit of hit damage in addition to its fire trail
- Freezing Pulse reload time increase halved (this is a buff)
- Incinerate slightly reworked: damage increased by about 50%, recharge time buff reduced

If using mods that alter the world, please load them such that the other mods have priority. A small Easter egg is included at the start, but is unnecessary.

Are any of these spells modded? Mentioning which these are, and/or taking a picture of the spell chain, might help if I can find time to tinker with this.

Okay then I'm doing it correctly and it just doesn't appear to work with some certain projectile spells. Certain spells just make it no longer ever summon a totem no matter the configuration until they're swapped with something compatible.

As in, you put it in the same position you'd put other modifiers (like damage up, cost down, et cetera). Some modifiers like damage field will be able to attach to the totem itself, but these will likely not affect the projectile the totem fires.

Ah, do you mean it needs to go after? I've gotten it to work with a few things with it before what it's casting, as expected, but some others don't. Unfortunately I started modding this early and now I don't know what's mod and what's vanilla.

Compatible within the base game, or with other mods? Keep in mind that the Totem effectively "eats" the projectile after you fire it and then recreates it, due to code limitations; it's possible you may be putting the support in the wrong position.

Having a hard time finding anything compatible with spell totem, which is really sad because it was what I was most excited to use.

Understandable.

The obvious gems, I think, would be more damage support gems first. We have Point Blank and Combustion, and forgive my bad memory and the last time I played PoE was probably the season before the previous, it'd be nice to see ice, lightning, and chaos damage supports. There's a spell, probably from a mod like Varia, that adds Rainbow Shot or something, every projectile can inflict 1 of various effects, including poison damage over time, that might give an idea how to apply poison without using Noita's actual poison liquid/effect. Besides that... well, only thing I can think of currently is Spectral Throw, I'll have to look at the wiki or boot up the game to think of other gems I'd like to see added.

You certainly can, though there's no guarantee I'll get around to them as I've been pretty busy with other things (like PoE. heh)

"Reality shifting" would most likely be fungal related as that's the only time I've seen that appear. I've not encountered this, it could be an incompatibility between mods or a load order issue.

Can we make suggestions/requests? I've only recently come across this because of the Spells Evolutions mod (they linked yours as compatible and recommended). I'm a very casual PoE player, but I do love the game, and these spells so far are cool. I'd love to see more skill gems brought over in Noita style.

thanks for telling me i still have no clue what mod keeps doing this even though ive disabled everything and re-enabled everything one at a time it still happens it seems to be no specific mod doing this.
