Omni Flora: Decorative Plants

Description
Omni Flora: Decorative Plants - Now DLC Compatible!
Looking for some exotic vegetation to spruce up your base? Omni Flora: Decorative Plants adds a variety of plants that live and thrive in different conditions.

Original art for 8 new plant species created by @Sharles_art.[www.instagram.com]

Description
Omni Flora: Decorative Plants adds fully functional decorative plants that thrive in extreme environmental conditions, harsh temperatures, and hostile atmospheres. All new plants can be found growing in the wild or obtained through care packages. The seeds can then be planted normally in planters and hanging pots or on natural tiles with Pips.

The flora added by the mod generally have three unique states of growth: Juvenile, Mature, and Flourishing. These states are visually distinct and have increasing decor bonuses. Reaching and maintaining the flourishing state of a plant can be difficult but aesthetically and mechanically rewarding. Information about the required environmental conditions can be found in the plant's information panel.

Additionally, Omni Flora: Decorative Plants makes a few small tweaks to some plant-related aspects of the game. Waterweeds no longer drown in liquids, removing the ugly alerts commonly found in Tidepool Biomes. Players can now receive Buddy Bud and Sporechid seeds as care packages, in addition to all newly added flora.

Plant Preferences
Consult the plant information panel by clicking on a plant in-game for exact requirements.
  • Prickly Lotus - warm to hot environments
  • Myrth Rose - temperate to warm environments
  • Rust Fern - temperate to cool environments
  • Spore Lamp - warm, energetic gases (Natural Gas, Sour Gas, etc)
  • Icy Shroom - cold environments
  • Frost Blossom - very cold environments
  • Tropicalgae - warm Polluted Water
  • Shlurp Coral - warm Saltwater

Seed Recipes
Due to popular demand, Molecular Forge recipes have been added! This allows existing saves to more quickly obtain seeds without relying on care packages.

  • Myrth Rose - Mirth Leaf Seed + Fertilizer
  • Rust Fern - Oxyfern Seed + Rust
  • Spore Lamp - Mushroom Spore + Coal
  • Icy Shroom - Mushroom Spore + Wolframite
  • Frost Blossom - Sleet Wheat Seed + Tungsten
  • Tropicalgae - Buddy Bud Seed + Algae

Compatibility and Troubleshooting
This mod works best with new worlds but can safely be added to existing saves. Adding this to an existing save will give access to all plants through care packages but will not generate plants in the world.

This mod shouldn't cause conflicts with most mods, but it does affect world generation.

Currently crash on load. Too bad the last update was in '21 so some modder will have to take in this little orphan.

Can confirm the crash. Isolated this mod by try and error disabling mods.

It just crashes out of nowhere when I activate it (disabling another mods alongside). I went 1 by 1 enabling mods until the only one left was this one.
Just having the mod enabled and loading a map would cause the crash. I'll see if I can collect more data once I get home.
Sad cuz I just love having more plants to play around with.

I could look into the problem if you add a call stack log and describe what action caused it.
