Izzles Custom Starting Systems

Description
Stellaris v3.8.X ✔️

Home system layout is based off the Stellaris "Sol" system. 8 planets (4 rock, 4 gas) orbiting star, inner rocky asteroid and outer ice asteroid belt, as well as moons on certain planets.

I originally created this for multiplayer games with my mates to avoid issues where someone would have a really bad start, and not have enough worlds or access to a Black Hole etc.

CSS - Paridayda
  • 25 tile homeworld
  • 25 tile Gaia world with food and unity bonuses (Paridayda and Ancient Harvesters)
  • 15/25 tile barren world (Note: This will be overwritten when using something like relic world start)
  • 15 tile cold barren moon orbiting the homeworld
CSS - Machine
Optimized for energy generation rather than food bonuses, but otherwise identical.

Neighbouring systems
All initializers have the same neighbouring systems:
  • Mining System - 25 tile "Ideal Class" planet with mineral bonuses. Also Crystals/Gases/Motes on planetary bodies, can place habitats over them.
  • Factory System - Contains 2 19/25 tile worlds with various blockers, suitable for consumer goods/alloy production focus. Also contains a Zro deposit.
  • Primitive System - Contains two 18/25 tile worlds, one with primitives and one moon.
  • Abandoned Gateway System - Small system, no habitable worlds, abandoned gateway right next to your station. Perfect for a centralized shipyard.
  • Black Hole System - Has a blackhole for your matter decompressor needs, and a broken world with dark matter. Some added trade value for funzies.
  • Relic System - Contains a 17 to 25 tile relic world at least 5 jumps from home system.

How to use
You can choose the system you want in the empire creation screen.
Look under 'Starting Solar System' under the 'Homeworld' heading.
See attached image for reference.

Compatibility
No vanilla files were harmed in making this mod.
As with any mod that affects gameplay, NOT achievement compatible.

I just checked the code: "usage = custom_empire" so they can only use it if you make an empire with this system selected and set it to be usable by AI.

Good mod. Hope to see more custom system starts added to this in the future! Especially a system with a primitive world in your starting system.
