Life in this quiet mountain village is nice. Nothing like days gone by, when you were the most powerful and good looking hero in all the land! But, still. Nice. You regail your fellow former heroes with tales of your glory over pints of mead. The barmaid serves you well. The tavern is warm and dry. The young man that just came in is babbling on about a monster heading this way. And the food is edible, if nothing else.

Wait… what was that about a monster? Sounds like it’s time to dust off the old weapon, defend the village, and show these other braggarts once and for all who the most heroic hero really is. You’ll need to work together to defeat the invader, but only one of you will be able to return to retirement with one more trophy in your storybook!
