Elevators of Variety

Description
This is just a simple little chunk pack to add some variety to the elevators, turning them into something other than empty spaces at the beginnings and ends of floors. There are 50 new chunks total, 25 each for the start and end elevators. It also uses some of the custom NPCs and general aesthetic of my Streets of Variety chunk pack so works particularly well in combination with that.

Disclaimer: Some chunks have floors near the elevator that will break rescue missions (as well as neutralize missions where you convince them to leave), this is a known issue and unfortunately there isn't a good fix aside from just not using those chunks.

Thanks for the work on all of your chunk packs!

Does anyone have a list of problematic chunks in here (cf. the disclaimer).
I would love a repack of this and volume two of this one with problematic chunks removed.

Chunks still break escort missions. The NPC stuck in fron of a chunk

Although cool, the chunks almost always screw up the escort missions.

Thanks for reporting that. A door looked out of place there so I just put a layer of floor underneath it that should hopefully fix the problem. Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce it either before or after the change so I have no idea if this fix actually works, but it's the same thing I did to keep people from teleporting past the police checkpoint so it should. If anyone gets trapped in there again though let me know and I'll just put the ugly door in instead.

Hi, I have had the same issue as sk in March, only with a different chunk, it's just a small ring of fence below the elevator. It was only possible to enter via teleport and as a Crepe I could not get out. Is there a chunk like that in this mod?

I did notice the inclusion of a door in the chunk sk mentioned previously :)

edit: I loaded the pack in the editor. I think it was the EoV End Gated Pond. This is single player only. Thanks!

I'm sorry, if I don't know what to fix I can't fix it. Just double checked and neither of the starting chunks with holes spawn you directly inside them, so without more information I can only assume it was a rare bug or something. Were there other chunk packs loaded? It might have been an elevator from someone else if so.

Just updated the pack to hopefully fix the other problems you guys pointed out. The only one I couldn't really test was the multiplayer spawning issue in the U Alley, so if the change isn't enough to stop it from happening let me know and I'll try again (maybe even give the chunk a complete redesign or replacement if that's what it takes, I think this is the second time it's caused serious problems).

I don't remember the chunk because I was too busy fucking dying. Was singleplayer.

Which chunk spawned you into a hole? Was this multiplayer? None of them have done that for me, and while you can still walk into a hole immediately on the catwalk if you're not paying attention I thought I managed to fix the outer void issue with that.

Thanks for all the recent feedback, I've been kinda taking a break from editing to play with the new DLC but I'll try to have another update out this week.

Had an elevator that spawned me DIRECTLY into a hole. I wasn't even on the ground so the game freaked and just sent me to the outer void of the map where I unavoidably died

These new chunks are very cool and add some nice variety to the game!

There was one where the entrance elevator spawned me directly on a train track, causing me to get hit by a train <2 seconds into the level before I had my wits about me. Technically not impossible to avoid but still pretty unfair. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2093669250
