LiT Graphic Improvements PACK

Description
Version 1.0 updated for EUIV 1.30.4

LiT Graphic Improvements PACK is a sub-addon made specifically for LiT which consists on a series of improvements and changes to how the graphics of the map look.
These changes were handpicked by me from a series of other graphic mods and then edited to my likings for personal use.

Main reason I made this was because I didn't want to bother with load orders with a thousand sub-addons, because GMI ET edition province border didn't really look very good with LiT's province density, and because GMI water and seasons color map around the poles look extremely bright for some reason in Typus projection.

  • Snow is no longer visible in political mapmode (this 'feature' was added in 1.29 for some reason and I didn't really like it)
  • Updated graphics for grasslands textures (this covers all 4 types of green lands - mountains, hills, plains and grass)
  • White font for map names
  • Updated water graphics
  • Slightly modified country borders
  • Updated fog of war, mud and ice textures
  • Tweaked minor reflection and shader details

Reee I don't like white fonts, or how the water looks!
I'm sorry if you don't like some parts of this pack, this was initially merely for personal use, but since a friend of mine one day asked me to share the mod with him since he liked how it looked, then I thought - why not upload it to the workshop?

Can I use this pack with other mods?
This graphic pack uses Typus Orbis Terrarum projection, which means that, in theory, it should be compatible with any other mod that uses this projection (Beyond Typus, Imperialism Reinvigorated, Expanded Timeline, Typus Orbis Terrarum itself, etc.).

However, I do not guarantee that it will be fully compatible.

And I use LIT not vanilla

Hi, for some reason I still can see snow on political map, it is annoying because it looks like spots

Sadly not, since it uses a different projection than what vanilla does.

You could try deleting the seasonal files from the mod, which to my knowledge are the only files to use Lux in Tenebris' projection.

The files are:
- colormap_autumn.dds
- colormap_spring.dds
- colormap_summer.dds
- colormap_winter.dds

All in map\terrain

Deleting these will make the mod look different but shouldn't have graphical glitches on vanilla.

Hello. And can I use it alone without other mod ?
Helena  [author] 7 Nov, 2020 @ 3:44am
This graphics mod can be used with any other mod. It just has to share projection with Lux in Tenebris.

For example it should be compatible with Extended Timeline, Beyond Typus or Imperialism Reinvigorated.

Can we used independent of main mod?

These graphics are wonderful. Could they exist apart of the main mod ?

Hello everyone.

I would like to let you know that I've finally updated the graphic pack addon to work properly with LiT for version 1.30.4

Cheers!
