Victoria Crater Recovery Mission

Backstory and mission:
The Victoria colony program has suffered a major catastrophe. The first colonists which consisted of 3 crews of 2 people landed safe but their supply drop got destroyed during reentry. NASA immediately put up a rescue mission.
The attempted rescue mission couldn't go any more wrong, the large landing craft got destroyed as well as most of the supply drops during reentry. We cannot make communication with any of the crews currently stranded and in need, and we suspect and are quite certain the worst has happened. To make it clear Commander this is a recovery mission and not a rescue mission, we presume all crews to be deceased.

Your mission upon landing will be to ensure your own survival is guaranteed before moving to the disaster area. Establish the identities of the deceased and recover what is still useful and can be used. Once further survival and base establishment is ensured, give the deceased a proper place to rest. Godspeed commander with this heavy burden you have to carry.

This scenario works on MP and SP, You will start in the MAV and will enter the Martian atmosphere at dawn with 2 supply drops. When you play MP though there will be a character sitting in the nr 1 seat of the MAV.
This is a rather simple scenario, to start your own base with all the basic equipment delivered with a macabre touch to it.
