Description
This mod adds additional starts to the game, to enhance the roleplaying experience. Some are group starts, others solo. Some include animals. It's a mixed bag, really. I just want to provide a few extra, varied starting conditions for Kenshi players.

If you use this mod, please leave some feedback, and let me know if you have any issues.

If you have any ideas for more starts and would like to see them added, let
me know!

THE STARTS
-----------------------------------------------------------
The following descriptions are summaries; the full backstories can be found in the mod.

(In order of addition)

THE INFILTRATOR - A hive prince is kidnapped at a young age, and groomed by the southern hive to be their greatest weapon. Unhindered by their appearance or any hive-mind mentality, this hiver is tasked with destabilising and/or destroying the factions who pose a threat to the southern hive.

THE NOBLE KNIGHT - A holy nation citizen witnesses too much injustice and decides to use the Holy Nation's own resources against them. The citizen becomes a member of the Holy Nation's army, and eventually earns a favour that allows them to leave and serve only themself. This citizen dedicates their life to fighting injustice and saving lives.

REUNION - A skeleton long buried is awakened when hit by a spark from a bolt of lightning. Their memories mostly gone and their body rusted, they join the Tech Hunters and eventually find some familiar metal faces among the wreckage of an age long past. The skeleton reboots their old, old, old friends, and they decide to resume their lives, vowing never to become so separated again.

WANNABE SAMURAI - A loner, obssessed with the samurai of the United Cities, aspires to become one. Unfortunately, the loner tried too hard to be hired by the nobles, and was soon shunned by the United Cities. Their only saving grace is the fact that they managed to find a set of equipment. The equipment isn't great, however, and the loner's quest has left them penniless.

CACTUS THIEF - You love cactus rum. You started trading it while using a bit of your own supply. Then you started stealing from the Holy Nation to supplement your beloved drink supply. Now you're in hiding, deciding what steps to take next.

SOUTHERN HIVE OUTCAST - You're a common drone with a curiosity for the outside world. You were ostracised and beaten, but now you have been released to sate your curiosity (and prevent others from picking up your hunger for travel).

REPROGRAMMER - A Tech Hunter finds a spider bot that works but is inoperative. They tinker with it and get it to serve them. The Holy Nation won't be happy about this use of technology, but that's a small price to pay for such a useful machine, no?

SHEK WARRIOR'S OFFSPRING - You're the child of an honorable shek warrior who disappeared after going on a dangerous mission. Tired of the safety within Shek walls and itching for the chance to see battle firsthand (even if it isn't officially as part of the Shek Kingdom), you set out to make a name for yourself. Slaying malnourished bandits isn't good enough. You crave more.

THE SHEK ARMY - The Stone Golem herself has decided it is time for the Shek to go to war once again. Assembling a ragtag group of warriors, she tasks them with building an army mighty enough to crush the Holy Nation and United Cities.

SPIDER-MAN - A loner to whom spiders never acted aggressively manages to tame a couple of blood spiders. The loner then encounters a fight and joins in, unwittingly taking the side of an anti-slaver. They win, thanks to the spiders' help, and the Loner is offered a chance to join the anti-slavers. The loner accepts.

SIBLINGS - A pair of siblings who have never had to work a day in their life - children of a United Cities noble - are kicked out of home and ordered to bring greater wealth to the family. This isn't just a game of business and money, however, it's a challenge of survival.

HORNED ONE - A Shek citizen joins the bandit lifestyle and adopted a reverence of goats for their horns and agricultural utility (i.e meat and milk). You decide to create a faction to rival the strongest forces of the Shek Kingdom.

STEVE - A completely normal man (or woman with a different name I suppose) is living a normal life of finding scrap to sell for a living, until he (or she) finds a very rare weapon. This will likely lead to a very rare new life.

CRAB ADOPTION - A pair of adventurers defeat some crab raiders. The raiders' crabs start following the adventurers around. The adventurers reluctantly decide to let the crabs keep following.

THE THREE BEEPS - While traveling, Beep encounters two other Beeps. Will they work together? Only the mysterious machinations of Beep's mind can say for sure.

SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND - Some newbie adventurers obtain a valuable pet when a beak thing egg begins hatching in their very hands. Abandoned by the adventuring team they had just joined, they are free to care for (or exploit) the young creature as they wish.

PROTO-WEAPON - A skeleton awakens for the first time in an ancient lab, and realises its creators had focused on programming combat skills and knowlege at the expense of all else. It wonders whether it was meant to be a weapon, but figures that whatever it was built for no longer matters. The skills it does have will be its most useful tool to survive and find purpose.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS - Three peacekeepers in the United Cities are joined by a new hopeful. A noble tasks the group with traveling beyond their home, and performing their good work far and wide.

FARMER'S INHERITANCE - A farmer returns home from a supply run to a city to find their home destroyed, and their parents gone. Claiming the only thing left - a ancient tool designed to be used as a weapon, the farmer sets out to find a new life and purpose, and make their parents proud.

Hive-Shek Experiment - A Hiver kidnapped early in its life is experimented on, and abandoned at The Hub with an outer body tougher than Shek bone-plates but a mind and innards weaker than anything.

@Esquire Bot I don't think squad animals can eat corpses like wild animals can, and as far as I know, giving squad animals the 'eats corpses' ai doesn't actually fill their hunger. If someone with more knowledge about this is reading this, I'd appreciate it a lot if you could shed some light on the matter (and possibly a workaround).

In the meantime I'll add a couple of extra characters to the start to make it easier so there's less chance of starving soon after beginning.

Does the beak thing feed on dead bodies? Or do I need to feed it like a normal animal? with 5x hunger im concerned it'll starve if I can only feed it
