PAM Excavator

A small grid atmospheric ship designed to dig horizontally with the Path Auto Miner script.

I made this ship to dig tunnels and hangars. It does not have any cargo, and in fact has enough connectors to eject stone as quickly as it can drill it. Designed to run autonomously there is no cockpit, just a remote control. The [PAM] script is included on the programmable block and already configured to dump stone and ice at it's current position for maximum drilling time.

The only DLC block used is the Transparent LCD. While not impossible to operate without it, it would be much more difficult. The LCD is not structural, the ship will not split without it. There are also some DLC skins, however they aren't critical to the function of the ship either :)

The blueprint contains angled spotlights from the MA Spotlight Pack, however these are entirely optional and are not structural. Omitting them will not cause any problems. There are also a few vanilla spot lights front and rear so you wont be without light should you forego the mod.

The ship is single grid, survival ready.

You will need to use 6 & 7 on Hotbar 1 to enable Throw Out and Collect All on the connectors before beginning a mining job or the drills will fill up and the ship will quickly become too heavy for [PAM] to continue. I also strongly suggest you use them again to disable those settings before connecting to your base, or you will find (as I did, oops) that the ship will suck the contents out of all your cargo containers and deposit them on the ground. It's both hilarious and horrifying.
