thank you! this is the most info I have found so it helps a ton, I am subbed to the original of the planets I plan to "fix" and I will contact the authors as well :) When you mention the depth values, what do you mean? Should I change the values to the ones in better stone, or keep the original, only changing the actual ore itself and not the depth

Well, first of all - I would sub to the original version of this mod by Capitan. From there, if you download better stone, you will find that there is a file called 'Override-PlanetGeneratorDefinitions'. You want to open that in notepad++. Look for the ore mappings section, and copy those values, and then paste them into whatever planet you are looking at for the mod, so for this one, the file was Sonos.sbc I believe. What you need to be careful of is the depth value and start value. I hope that helps!

Hello! I am currently working on making a realism/RP based seevee and was hoping to add in modded pkanets while using better stone. I was wondering if you could explain or point me towards information about how to change/what to change in the planet files to add better stone compatibility. I have read guides on how to make ore maps and I have read through better stones guides but I cannot see what better stone looks for in an ore map in order to spawn its ores. Also, am I completley wrong and it has its own ore maps from the vanilla planets and I could just copy those pretty much into modded planets?

It is a compatibility fix for the 'Better Stone' mod. You can check that out for all the details of what is different (or better!)
