Description
Please unsubscribe from the old version of ScaleUI first:
ScaleUI (beta)

This mod adds a slider to the options menu to scale / resize the complete user interface in Cities: Skylines.

Usage
Go to ScaleUI in the Options menu, and adjust the slider. Then hit Apply.

To reset the scale to default values, hit the Reset button.

The applied scale will be saved and re-applied every time you start/load a game.

Version History
  • 1.7
    • Fixed decreased FPS when scaling < 1.
  • 1.6
    • Fixed policies window getting cut off at scale > 1.
    • Scale slider now resets when pressing Reset button.
    • Added text field to display selected scale.
  • 1.5
    • Close button bug fixed (again).
    • Fixed spacing bug when adding new transport line. Note that the fix causes a short delay when adding a new line.
  • 1.4
    • Fixed disaster notification position.
    • Removed category close button to fix bug where it would move to center of screen.
  • 1.3
    • Initial version.

Known Issues
  • If you use other mods which add UI elements, this mod will probably reposition them off-screen. To work around this, position them in the center of the screen before scaling, and then reposition them once you are done.

Please report any issues you find.

Thanks to nlight for help with Reflection.

Thanks to permutation for doing most of the hard work and creating the first version of the mod.

Thanks to Keallu whose code I used to figure out how to implement the slider and configuration file.

This was a fantastic idea for us 4K player on a 70 inch screen but unfortunately menus such as the ones from the procedural object mod do not change. I know I guess you could only do the UI from the game itself.

Doesn't play well with mods. Also I went into camera mode and then back and the UI was completely borked, as though it didn't know what size the screen was.

UI Resolution is newer and seems alot more stable! This Mod gave me problems that i'm sure i'm still trying to flush bits of, as it caused a baked in menu effect on the screen.

Just installed this for my huge 4k monitor, and man the difference! So much screen real estate saved. More city, less filling! Thank you, Mr. Asterisk person!

will this effect traffic manager? for some reason the set speed limit window is massive. takes up about 1/3rd of my screen. Obviously not your problem. Just wondering if this is the solution or if there is a solution at all.

This mode causes never ending bugs and HUGE fps drops, lags and crashes. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT. It is not up to date.

Broken mod, scaling the UI messes with mods that have their UI buttons, and causes a weird deep fried effect when scaled too low. Resetting the value and mod doesn't actually bring it back to normal (1), only uninstalling fixed my problems.
