to anyone having the issue with the wireframe on the gas mask lenses: the problem seems to be caused by a broken vmt. i was able to solve the issue by installing the addon "hecu rebels" and selecting "yes to all" when it prompted me to overwrite the materials. if you're skilled enough with vtfedit, you might also be able to fix the problem yourself
