Description
INTRODUCTION: As you know ordertide is a thing now, and pretty much every campaign you can see Empire, Bretonnia, Dwarfs and f*cking Elves going on a rampage and taking over the entire map.

It isn't that bad of a thing when you play a disorder faction, or you just going around killing everything no matter what. But when you're playing order factions... it kinda becomes incredibly easy. Example: you're playing Empire and by the time you unite your provinces you can see bretons, dwarfs and fu*king elves beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of their natural enemies.

So I decided to make a few simple mods to make AI controlled order factions into punching bags for AI controlled disorder factions. By increasing their upkeep cost to stop them from fielding too much units. So while they wont be completely rolled other, they will never be capable of doing any meaningful damage to their enemies.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Mortal Empires only. I played around quite a few campaigns with these mods on. But I cant guarantee they will work as intended every time. Because campaign ecosystem is quite fragile be ready for some greentide/vamptide/edgytide action.

This mod nerfs AI controlled bretonnia factions. If you play as Louen, Morgiana, Repanse or generic lord of Bordeleaux, you will be unaffected, but if AI plays them they get nerfs. Non-playable bretonnia factions are always nerfed, so if you're using unlocker - unlucky you

what does this mod do exactly? does it affect stats/upkeep/morale?

I say bretonnia having 3 full stack armies, with their one starting provence, note, they had a total of 5 grail knights, in all 3 combined, and when ever I weakened one(killed a few units) they replaced them in a turn. I honestly don't know if this bretonnia nerf would do anything, but I have to try.

bretonnia is considered to be the worst faction because cavalry are the most useless unit in the game, it has one bonus and thats to flank but thats it. elven spearmen any day over every unit bretonnia has. they need a rework if anything and so does chaos but thanks for the mod i did try it haha :D

in my games bretonnia usually takes over norsca and tomb kings with no problem and fairly early into campaign

The ritual progress in vortex is heavily rigged, you just need to to do something about it before they complete 5th ritual. And even then, if you have strong enough army you're fine, you just need to win 1 quest battle and it will set back their progress

Currently been having a issue with eye of the vortex where no faction even gets close to them on the progress it seems

No, I think they are fine as they are right now
