Alarm Clock

Description
Capabilities
=========
* A new button is added in the top-right panel next to the Civilopedia. This button opens the Alarm Clock dialog.
* Set an alarm for N turns in the future with a custom message. In N turns, you will receive a notification containing your message.
* A single alarm can be set per future turn.
* You can view and delete upcoming alarms in the grid view, which appears in the dialog after you've added an alarm.
* Upcoming alarms are **not** saved when the game is closed. You'll have to pull out a good old-fashioned paper and pencil if you want to save reminders between sessions!

Keyboard Shortcuts
===============
* Alt-R: toggle dialog
* ESC: close dialog
* Enter: confirm alarm, or close dialog if message is blank

Known Issues
===========
* Alt-R does not close the window while an EditBox has focus.
* Activating the notification pans the camera to an arbitrary location. To avoid this, simply don't left-click the notification.

IT CRASHES IF YOU HAVE NUMBERS IN THE TITLE OF THE ALARM! (otherwise it works fine for me. thanks!) - and yes: it works just till you quit the game. Next session you have to turn it on again.

I find it's crashing Civ for me. I installed it, ran, configured a 10 turn notification and played a bit. Crashed in about 4 turns. Fired up again, set a 3 turn notification and crashed during the second turn. I love the idea but can't use it if it crashes.

Mod only works as you play, if you close the game or even reload a save all alarms will be removed. Say you plan to play for 50 turns, if you set the alarm for 51 turns, when you reload the game the alarm won't be there.

This mod would be a much better one if it would trigger a popup dialog box instead. It is very easy to not see the alert at the right of the screen.

Unfortunately, this mod does not currently work. It crashes the game when the alarm is supposed to go off.

this is a fantastic mod, but the fact the alarms are not saved kinda makes it unstable and somewhat pointless. is there a way to save the alarm varibles? seems a few chars will do the job.
maybe you can develop another can-save version?

Oh, and I agree about the popup idea. It would be nice to make reminders with user-defined levels of intrusiveness, or even a reminder that essentially freezes playing the game for x minutes.

I'm going to use this every X turns to remind me to step away and do a few minutes of work on a task.

...basically, gamify and incentivize productive behavior!

If possible, could you give the notification a unique icon so it stands out among the other ones?
