Yume Nikki: Madotsuki's Apartment

Description
This is a recreation of Madotsuki's room from Yume Nikki. It includes the room and the balcony area. I just wanted this for myself and couldn't find it in the workshop so I made it. There is a small amount of interactivity but nothing too crazy. Hope someone enjoys this!

Interactivity:

-You can try to leave by touching the doorknob
-You can use the light switches for the overhead light and the lamp
-You can pick up and throw around the little pink console and controller
-The sliding glass door is physically openable (It freaks out when you grab the door but returns to normal when you let it go)
-There is a radio in the corner that allows you to play a smattering of songs from the game

Updates:
V2 has an off button on the radio, and a few custom models on the balcony bringing it closer to what is seen in game

Hey thanks! It was good feedback. I might tinker with this some more sometime if I can figure out how to bend the undercooked toolset to my will. Would really like to get an interactable tv...

Gave this an award as thanks. Least I could do.

Thank you so much! I'm real excited to chill here in the future. I really appreciate it.

New update includes a few custom models for more accuracy (broom and slippers), and the radio now has an off button

Oh good point. I can't believe I didn't do that in the first place! Seems really annoying for the user. I'll do this when I have some free time. I'm not sure how you go about UPDATING a workshop item since I've never made one before but I'll give it a shot.

I really like this map, but could you add a button on the radio to turn off the music? I kinda just wanna chill here and if I'm trying to watch anime or something then it's overlapping with the Yume Nikki audio, as lovely as it is.

I thought that too, then I went on a little bit of a roadtrip through a bunch of maps looking for cozy locations to relax and watch shows in via this https://github.com/elvissteinjr/DesktopPlus and things just kinda snowballed from there. There's enough places to visit that even though you get 128 worlds worth of favorite capacity I'm almost running out of space.

I really gotta try VR chat if that's true. I thought it was just for memes at first but I keep hearing things like that... It seems like a modern day worlds or something, which sounds rad.

Oh yeah you can do that, you just recolor prop shapes with your touchpad, resize them by using both hands to stretch and shrink them, and attach them onto your avatar. Kinda hard to recolor on index controllers but I managed. the VR headset prop makes for a great character shirt when you put it underneath the head of the character, and I used 7 different colored versions of the same square props to make the shirt pattern. The clone tool helps a lot when making avatars.

Anyway, VRChat is basically "Yume Nikki open world", granted you're not finding items and there's no story, but some of the places I've been in VRChat by myself are just surreal enough to qualify as a similar experience.
