Southern Pacific Side Rod

Description
Here is a re-skin based on the livery carried by switcher locomotives that ran on the Southern Pacific Railroad. I didn't base it on the mainline engines because I didn't think the mainline variant of the SP livery would work on the Side Rod model.

The Southern Pacific Railroad is another one of those 'fallen flag' roads, as it was merged with the Union Pacific in 1996. At least, I think it was in 1996. A much more comprehensive history of the SP can be found here (and yes, sources are cited at the bottom of the article):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Pacific_Transportation_Company

Some of the switcher types on SP's roster were the ALCO C-415, EMD NW2, SW8, SW1500 and even a few slug locomotives. A switcher (or 'shunter' as we call them in New Zealand) is a locomotive designed to move wagons/freight cars or coaches/passenger cars around in a railway yard.

I don't know what you mean by 'boxcar and original'. Could you clarify it?
