Space Battleship Jayu

Story:
In August 20, 2910, KSC and other major space centers were contacted by the empire of Gamilon, who brought thousands of space warships to annex Kerbin. They demanded that Kerbin surrender or be forcefully surrendered. Soon after, UKDF (United Kerbin Defense Force) was formed between nations to fight the invaders off of the Solar System. However, every piece of military equipment and technology were useless against Gamilon space warships as they were technologically superior. In August 22nd of 2910, Kerbin was absorbed into Gamilon's sphere of influence, and officially surrendered, though UKDF was still operational under the radar. For 25 years, UKDF and its agents have been collecting broken Gamilon ship parts in order to gain knowledge of their weaponry. UKDF prioritized the upgrade of personal firearms to help regain control of industrial sectors near KSC and KSC itself.

In March 13th of 2935, all regions nearby KSC were liberated from Gamilon control, and schematics of space warships and space forces were found within R&D buildings. Now with full schematics of gun turrets and weapons, UKDF launched the construction of the air force, with UKDAF (United Kerbin Defense Air Force), a new branch of UKDF, in change of the project. Current objective was to build a space battleship that is able to defeat the Gamilon fleet occupying the planet.

The construction of Space Battleship "Jayu" was finished in July of 2936. During her construction, multiple air raids from Gamilon carrier fleet delayed the project for few months. UKDF decided to use Jayu against the Carrier fleet to test her capabilities. After 2 hours, Gamilon carrier fleet were annihilated.
