- What do I get with this download?

A brand new league based in England and made up of 599 of the best teams in the world from Real Madrid and Barcelona to Ceske Budejovice and St. Johnstone plus a Development League made up of 152 teams from each country that doesn't have any team in the full World League. This includes every country in the world from Jamaica to Bhutan.

- So whose playing it?

Over 10,000 players have downloaded versions of this league from the Steam Workshop.

- What is the structure of this league?

There are 21 main leagues. A premier league made up of 20 teams and 20 more divisions with 24 teams each. Teams are sorted purely be reputation. There are also three 'qualification pools' with 33 teams in each which you can choose to load or leave 'invisible' so you don't know which new teams will enter the World League at the end of each season. Finally, there are 5 Development Leagues made up of teams representing all the countries in the world that didn't make it into the main leagues or qualification pool. Select all the way down to the Development League if you want a real challenge!

- Are there any cup competitions?

Of course. In fact, there are five: the FIFA World League Cup, FIFA World Lower League Cup, FIFA World Qualification Pool Cup, FIFA World Development League Cup, and the FIFA World League Community Shield. The FIFA World League Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the world.

The Community Shield is a match between the League Cup and Lower League Cup winners that takes place at the start of the season.

- Sometimes with custom leagues the team has the same nationality as the league so their regens are from the wrong country. Will this happen in the FIFA World League?

Nope. Each team retains their original nationality so their regens will come from their own country.

- What happened to the Barclays Premier League?

It's still there. It's 'below' the qualification pool but there is no promotion to the World League. It's a separate league and in future updates I hope to expand it to include more divisions.

- Can I play with other nations at the same time as the World League?

Sure. I've edited the other nations to make their leagues playable although remember they no longer include the teams that have now moved to the World League.

- So how do I download this beast?

Follow the link to the Steam Workshop and click Subscribe. Then open up FM and go to FM>Downloads. Click the Steam Workshop, find the FIFA World League and click Install.

Make sure when you start a new game that the latest version of the FIFA World League is selected and no other edited files that conflict with the World League.

Absolutely! The file is very complicated and there may well be issues with it that I haven't seen yet.

- Hang on a minute! Where the hell is Ajax [or insert favourite team]? Don't you know they won the Champions League?

Ajax are in Division Two. Teams are sorted purely by reputation according to SI researchers. This is the fairest way I could think of and sorry if you're favourite team is lower than you expect. It's pretty easy to edit the leagues so please go ahead if you want to make changes.

- When I start a new game all the teams are in the right divisions but the divisions have the wrong names e.g. Barclays Premier, Sky Bet Championship, etc.

You've probably added an edited file that changes the names of English competitions. You'll have to delete this file to get the correct World League names.

- Why am I only playing 19 league games a season? IT'S TOO SHORTqqq&*%$$%??!!!

Clubs have to spend a lot more than normal travelling around the world in this league. 19 games is more affordable.
