This Major continues using 4-gold stickers style for souvenir items. These stickers are Gold Mlg 2016 sticker, MVP of player which got MVP in this round and 2 stickers of opponent teams.
MLG Columbus 2016 is the first Major in CS:GO history that has 1 million dollars prize pool and also it is the first championship which was held in the United States.
Also MLG 2016 is Major where were destroyed all CS legendary teams: Fnatic, NIP, VP, Team Envyus.
Interesting fact, in total were unboxed 11 Souvenir R8 Amber Fade from Mlg Columbus 2016 Dust II souvenirs packages and about 230 souvenir Ak-47 Safari Mesh and only 1 Factory-New Ak-47.
It is the Major where were unboxed least amount of souvenir Ak-47 Safari mesh.

This match is Showmatch before Grandfinal and it was held on 3 April 2016. Players were chosen by vote and there was really stars game. This match was played by Team Europe and Team America and for this match were created special stickers but MVP of players and Gold Mlg sticker are regular.

The most valued souvenirs from this match are Souvenir M4a4, P250 and Tec-9, they have highest price. Also interesting items are Industrial group souvenirs: P90, Xm1014, UMP45 and Factory-New Consumer items group: Sawed-off, Mag-7 and PP Bizon. But of course even battle-scared sawed-off with tarik is valued consumer gun and it isn't default item =P
With help of db.csgofloat we know exist about 36 P250 from All-Stars Match and 37 Tec-9 and around 200 m4a4 =P








The most valued MVP's from this match are S1mple, Shroud, Skadoodle, kennyS. Average price got NiKo, GeT_RiGhT and Rain MVP's signed items and last group is Maikelele, Tarik and Hiko souvenirs.

Mlg Columbus is second Major where we have seen MVPless souvenirs (first one is the Cluj-Napoca 2015). Here we have only 2 types of MVPless souvenirs and both connected with Threat (NIP Player). It connected with little problem which NIP got on this Major (i think you saw Pyth regular and Foil stickers on the Steam Market but they are not valued).
Nip played a lot of matches at MLG Columbus 2016 Championship and Threat MVPless souvenirs exist in these collections:
1)Overpass (NIP vs Mousesports)(2 MVPs);
2)Cobblestone (NIP vs Mousesports)(1 MVPs);
3)Mirage (NIP vs Navi and Luminosity Gaming)(0 and 1 MVPs);

So this problem connected with Pyth, he has problems with Visa and Threat changed him for this Championship, by the way Threat is Coach of NIP (i think you also know Zonic sometimes played for Astralis (for example Cologne 2016)) but he didn't get any adding his name in the description of the souvenirs in steam inventory or in csgo inventory overview).

. So MLG Columbus 2016 is the only Major where we have adding coach name in MVPless items description. It was first type of Threat Souvenirs, second one is just items which do not have Threat name in the Description (as Astralis MVPless souvenirs)

How you can see S1mple got a lot of MVP medals and played really good, Team Liquid beaten a lof of opponents but they lost to LG Squad. These souvenirs are first souvenir guns with S1mple signatures and all these items are valuable. Especially high level items as Ak-47 Safari Mesh and etc. S1mple signed souvenirs are interesting and valuable items for collecting especially if you are fan of S1mple.
By the way exist about* 9 Ak-47 signed by S1mple, 4 P2000 Amber Fade, only 1 M4a1-s Variacamo, 1 Sg553 Damascus Steel with him, but it only Dust II Collection, so also exist 20 Ump-45 Blaze, 28 Mp9 Hot-Rod, 16 Mag-7 Bulldozer, 19 Famas Styx, 14 Galil Ar Cerberus, 30 Glock-18 Reactors.

MLG 2016 was really bad for Cloud9. There are They played at only 2 maps and lost at both of them.

Especially bad Cloud9 played at Dust II, they started from T-site and defense of G2 was really strong there. Stewie2k even didn't get MVPs and it does mean he got only regular and foil stickers from this Major.

I think already everybody know Cloud9 Signature items from these matches are valuable but not all know that also souvenirs signed by G2 and Navi players from Cloud9 matches are valuable and i mean even consumer items.
How we can say this Major was really bad for Cloud9 and by the way, value of this items good growing up because after MLG Championship we have seen Cloud9 again only on Krakow 2017 Major. Thanks people for choosing Skadoodle and Shroud to All-Stars Match otherwise their signature souvenirs would be TOO rare.

This team played few matches and were destroyed by CLG (Counter-Logic Gaming). They played 3 matches in 3rd day of Group Stage - 1 win and 2 lose (all matches vs CLG). Also they played against Team Envyus (btw CLG also destroyed them) and Astralis. MLG is only Major (and Cologne 2016 else) when we can see Hooch signed souvenirs and also that is first Major for Mou, AdreN and ofc for Dosia X God...

These guys played with Gambit Esports in 1st day of Group Stage. Second match was held at Overpass and vs CLG, this is Interesting one and i will write about this match separately. Astralis also played against Fnatic (Cache & Overpass) and won them and also they played against Natus Vincere (Inferno & Dust II) but lost both matches. And yeah, Astralis played Dust II vs Natus Vincere and it does mean exist few Ak-47's with their Signature stickers and they are rare.

And the most interesting i think are Faze Clan souvenirs...
These items looks really good, people love them and also this Major is first one for this team: first stickers for Faze, first their souvenirs and etc. First Map for Faze Clan at this Championship is Cache and their opponent was Team Liquid but Faze lost to them.
Second day was easy because Faze played vs Splyce and beat them (16-3). Next days was hard because Faze played against Fnatic and Fnatic won them easily (6-16 Cobblestone and 10-16 Mirage).
Btw rarest items with Faze i think are souvenirs which signed by Fox because he got 0 MVP vs Splyce, 2 vs Fnatic at Mirage and 0 at Cobbleston and 2 MVP vs Team Liquid.

Team Envyus are Champions of Last Major before Mlg Columbus 2016 (Dreamhack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015) and...that was just something... Team Envyus lost both matches with no chance. KennyS even did not get MVP medals, thanks people for choosing him at All-start Match and already there he got few MVP medals.

Also By the way exist only 1 M4a1-s Knight with Team Envyus from Mlg Columbus 2016 but it hidden.

Astralis won this match 16-9 easily and FugLy even didn't get MVP. Items with CLG signatures from this match are valued and rare but Astralis signed souvenirs are also valuable and interesting. Also interesting fact only from this match has been opened Souvenir Awp DDPAT with CLG players signatures (from all Championships). In total were opened only 3 Awp DDPAT from this match and 2 got CLG signature and also you can see one from them down here. Btw this one with Reltuc is 1/1 not Banned Awp from this match with CLG signature sticker and just 1/1 Awp with balls =P

The Grand Final was not so good as we would have liked... In Grand Final played Natus Vincere and Luminosity Gaming. There are they played only 2 maps - Mirage (LG pick) and Overpass (Navi pick).

This final game was really fast, nice try for Natus Vincere but Luminosity Gaming was idk... just like giant tank with no weak spots =P
After this final and until 2018-2019 souvenirs with LG signatures (especially with FalleN and Coldzera) has really high demand and value (includes Cologne 2016 items when SK Gaming bought these stars to change old SK gaming squad) but now it does look sad because MIBR do not show us his old style and their real game...

But some items from this Grand Final are really good, nice, valued and some items even rare.
Fox example Ump-45 Blaze which sighed by LG players or M4a1-s Masterpiece or may be Awp Pink DDPAT and Usp-s Road Rash from Overpass (especially Awp with Fallen or M4a1-s and Usp-s with Godzera). Also growing up touched and other LG matches, they are also has good demand and prices. Also do not forget about crazy highlight by coldzera on Mirage match where he killed 4 guys from Team Liquid with no scope in jumping in B apartaments, this highlight made price for Ssg08 and especially Awp signed by coldzera really higher.
