Alternative Version

This version has been modified for a diferent way of gameplay more based on "Star Wars: Miniature Wars" one where you build your base around your spawn and then you can expand it through outpost. Choose your side

Based on Starship Troopers universe, "Miniature Wars: Klendathu" (Alternative Gameplay) includes a roster of units from the United Citizen Federation (UCF) and The Arachnids. Each faction have a sub-faction selection which brings you some unique units from each one.

Oposite faction selector

If it is enabled, at the beginning of your game the AI will choose the oposite faction of yours and allies will choose the same one.

Sub-Factions list

UCF:

MOBILE INFANTRY: Mech units, infantry can gain more Ranks making them harder to kill. Unique units: M-11 Babar, M-3 Bullseye, M-8 Ape, Flamer

ARMORED DIVISION: Armored track units, better tanks and more variety of them. Unique units: Patriot, HWP and Mastodon

FLEET : Cheaper air units, better air units and more variety of them. Unique units: F76, V24-Carryall, TAC Fighter, V4-Viking II, DR8B, DR8G


Arachnids genomes:

BIG SPECIMENS GENOME: Access to bigger creatures, slower but heavily armored and powerful army, Big hole bugs gain armour and HP bonuses. Unique Units: Scorpion, Master Blaster.

STEALTH SPECIMENS GENOME: Access to cloaking capable creatures, average army with ambush capabilities and defenses, some usual units can be set to stay cloaked. Unique Units: Chameleon, stealth tanker infant, stealth tanker, stealth ambushers/miasma spire defenses.

AIR SPECIMENS GENOME: Access to more air creatures, average army with more air strike capabilities. Unique Units: Firefly,Rippler,Mama Rippler.

NOTES:
1.- Please note that this mod it is not canonical at all, I introduced more units for more variety/fun
2.- As "Starship troopers: Invasion" was a mod designed to play just as UCF, I did this mod for a balanced gameplay between UCF and Arachnids in order to play as any faction.

how do i enable Oposite faction selector?

ahhh yes thank you. I figured it out. Now I just build them, drop defenses , then reclaim them in favor of ore extractors tier 3.

You can build outposts on the vanilla pools. Those outpost can create new builds themselves once builded.

not sure how to expand. the trucks don't seem to be able to build the OUTPOST buildings anywhere. Please Advise

the mod reminds me of Galaxy Warfare. so sad that Galaxy warfare did not make it that far.

Been having a lot of fun playing this! However, I have encountered an annoying glitch when playing as the bug air genome. When I get the synaptic control upgrade, my build options all switch to the big creatures genome instead. I start the match able to see the "build mama rippler" option in my build list, but when I get synaptic control, it change to the regular queen instead and my tech tree ends with me able to build scorpions and master blasters.

Could you do Napoleonic Wars themed Miniature Warfare with cannons, cavalry and line battles?
