Description
Syria Nation Mod for Rise of Nations: Extended Edition

Kaiser_Mobius here with another nation mod, this time replacing the Aztecs with the Middle Eastern country of Baathist Syria.

Syria gets a number of unique units to use in the Information Age era of the game, with SAA Assault Infantry, RPG Teams, BMP's, Hind Attack Helicopters, BM-21 rocket launchers, and MiG-29 fighter jets. Syria can also get Russian Air Force strategic bombers to back up its forces.

I am on the fence with how a few of the new textures turned out so I might come back at some point to make some changes. I also may expand this mod by adding a Syrian Rebel's faction later on, as I think I might be able to make one that is interesting.

To install the mod, just click the subscribe button. Then in a solo game, play as the Aztecs and select Syria from the mods drop down menu.

Loving your country mods. Would be dope to see a mod for Sweden, especially for the Gunpowder / Enlightenment age.

I hadn't been planning on making any mods for Turkey, but I have thought it might nice to expand this mod to create a Syrian Rebel's faction that would include some Turkish units (TuAF F-16's, APC's)

Mexico is one I am interested in possibly doing, possibly in a pack with the other Latin American nations. Finland, South Africa, Sweden, and possibly an info-age European Union are others I would like to try making, as well as a couple of improvement packs for Japan and Egypt. That is at least what I have thought of so far, I might try adding some more to that list, like Brazil, Argentina, maybe some other improvement packs, not sure when I would get around to it though.
