Graphical orbit display

Description
A simple script that shows ship's current orbit on an LCD screen.

Shown orbit elements
In top-left corner, the following elements are displayed:
  • Rad - distance between the ship and the centre of the planet,
  • PeR - periapsis radius from the centre of the planet,
  • ApR - apoapsis radius (elliptic orbits only),
  • e - eccentricity,
  • Inc - inclination,
  • LAN - longitude of ascending node.

In top-right corner:
  • T - orbit period (elliptic orbits only),
  • TtP - time till periapsis. For hyperbolic orbits this is negative after periapsis passage,
  • TtA - time till apoapsis (elliptic orbits only),
  • AoP - argument of periapsis - angular distance between periapsis and ascending node,
  • TrA - true anomaly (0 degrees at periapsis, 180 degrees at apoapsis),
  • TrL - true longitude. Useful for comparing positions of ships in the same orbital plane.

Script configuration
To edit configuration, click "Custom Data" on script's programmable block. All script settings are located in [OrbitDisplay] section.
Currently supported options include:
  • ScreenBlock - exact name of a block with LCD screen. If left empty, script will show orbit on the programmable block itself,
  • Screen - the number of a screen in the block's screen list, beginning from zero. Defaults to 0 when omitted,
  • Ship - exact name of a ship to display orbit for. Shows orbit of programmable block's grid if empty,
  • TextSize - size of text elements, uses 0.5 by default.

Instructions are in the last paragraph in description. Make sure that the text after ScreenBlock= matches cockpit name exactly as it appears in control panel, including spaces and numbers. Then increase number after Screen= until the graphics appears on the desired monitor.

Sounds like a mod conflict. Are you using Real Orbits?

Thanks!

There is no easy way to do this at the moment.

Is there any possibility of a way to change the color of the display?
