L4D2 Script | MG & GL Reserve Ammo Increase Script (w/ Increased GL Damage)

Description
This scripts will add M60's reserve ammo and increase Grenade launcher's reserve ammo.
Most useful for Reloadable M60 add-ons.

Addon version: v2.0.3

ATTENTION
Normally, M60 reserve ammo is cannot be more increased over 800. I've tested so many time, but I never can changes this limit. Always. So NO MORE REQUEST to increase M60 reserve ammo. This is a technical problem with L4D2 itself, and there is nothing I can do to fix it myself unless the L4D2 developer directly modifies and updates the code.
If you really want to too much M60 ammo, use a sourcemod(plugin).

Replaces:
.../scripts/gamemodes.txt

M60
Reserve ammo: 3,000 (def.: 150)

Grenade Launcher
Reserve ammo: 480 (def.: 30)
Damage:
  • Normal: 1,500 (def.: 400)
  • Realism: 5,000

For Multiplayer
If you want to play multiplayer with this addon but it's not working correctly, check this post what I've found this. If you tried this solution but the problems still not solved, please comment to me. I will check this again.

First you need to follow this instruction.
1. Prepare the local server or your own dedicated server.
2. Open the developer console. Default key is to the left of 1 key.
3. type sv_consistency 0 and press enter.
4. type sv_pure_kick_clients 0 and press enter.
5. type sv_pure 1 and press enter.

Remember, official server is not allowed any addons because the official server is vanilla server. So you need to play in local server or your own dedicated server.
In Verses mode, this add-on is script add-on. So this will not applied in your server when you are playing Verses mode. It's only works in normal game modes.

Feedback
If there is anything missing here from the latest version of L4D2's mutation mode(gamemodes.txt), please let me know the code for it.

I'm just updated addon. I'm not sure yet it's will still work if it goes higher than three digits. I couldn't test it myself right now because I had other things to do.

yeah other wise im fine with always reloading the m60 i just want it to have a very high ammo reserve considering it is for me one of the best weapons in the game next o the m16 and grenade launcher

I don't know how to not drop M60 without frequently reload clip. I think if we really want that, somebody create a source mod to make that function. I haven't looked into it myself, but maybe there's already a mod that does that. If still no one has made one, someone will have to.

oh i didnt know that but if you do love have the main clip size 250 and the ammo reserve as high as possible for the m60 itself as i love using it when it has way more ammo to use. also i dont know if you know how to remove the dropping of the m60 that be great if it was removed if i get to the last bulllet other wise i just reload the m60 often.

I said no more update all addons previously uploaded past. But now I will do update it again if it's still popular. I've changed my computer so I can create more thing.

Well, I don't know. Because I didn't test this in multiplayer. It's only tested in singleplayer.
If you find that this really doesn't work in multiplayer (or your friend did as well), then find a way to fix this as this addon uses a specific file (gamemodes.txt).
First of all, for multiplayer, the same add-on must be installed on both the server and the client. This means that the friends you play with must also install the same. If this doesn't work, there may be other issues.
